The 1st Step in Growing Your Practice

Good morning Doc! 
So, it's been just over one year since we opened the doors up to ChiroSpark. Pretty crazy, right?
In that past 12+ months, I've certainly learned a lot about chiropractic, business, marketing, etc. but I've also learned a great deal about myself.
While I love learning new skills, techniques, marketing tools, etc - what really gets my engine revving is interacting with docs and providing value.
It's the reason we offer so many strategy calls - both to our ChiroSpark users and non-users. 
I wanted to share something that comes up a lot in these calls. It's what we stress and teach from the very beginning when you start with ChiroSpark. 
And, that's tracking.
No, not Facebook Pixel tracking, I mean tracking your practice's performance. 
I talk to a lot of docs who can't answer these questions:
How many new patients did you see this month?
How many total patient visits this month?
What were your collections?
What were your marketing costs? Do you even have a marketing budget?
How do you expect to grow when you don't know if this month was better than last? How do you know how much to spend on marketing, if you don't know how much revenue it brought in?
If you want to grow your practice, my number one tip to getting started is to simply open up a new Excel spreadsheet and start tracking these numbers. (To make this even simpler, you can download my Monthly Marketing Spreadsheet here).

You NEED to know how well you're doing month-to-month, you NEED to know what worked and what didn't. 

Growth doesn't just happen. It's not fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants, but a calculated plan, a strategy for the future. 
The four questions above are so important because you need to calculate 1. how much it costs to bring in a new patient and 2. how much that patient is worth. If your revenue is greater than your cost... keep doing what you're doing and scale away. Growth is right around the corner.
